Picnic in the Park

Hong Kong's favourite live charity music and dance festival is back for its 10th anniversary, and promises to be bigger and better than ever. Featuring live music from 26 band, the one-day event offers rock, pop, hip-hop and big brass in an attempt to raise a whopping $500,000 for Hong Kong children's charities, including The Hong Kong Student Aid Society and the Hong Chi Children’s Home. So dig deep, dine, and dance the day away at Discovery Bay this Saturday! Braidwood Cup T20 Internationals Hong Kong vs Scotland

Wickets at the ready! For the first time ever, Hong Kong is hosting a T20 cricket match as part of the Braidwood Cup series. Kick back and enjoy this two-day festival of cricket, as Hong Kong and Scotland battle it out on the pitch. Entry into the public area is free, but grab yourself a ticket to be in with a chance of winning a bat signed by both teams.

How Cool is That?!!

Have a drink and help the homeless - could it get any easier? Hong Kong's street sleepers have been at the forefront of our minds during the recent cold snap, so now is the perfect time to do our bit. Wine, beer, and house shooters will be just $50 a piece at this fundraising gathering at Le Tambour - but, more importantly, for every beverage you buy, humanitarian movement impactHK will provide a hot meal for the homeless. Last month's event funded 380 meals - now how cool is that?!! Sai Kung Open Air Cinema Club Presents Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Join Indiana Jones on the terrace of The Hive Sai Kung, as he embarks on an epic adventure to the Temple of Doom. Blankets, popcorn, and BBQ food will be provided to ensure your belly is full and your toes are toasty. Udderbelly Close Up, BRIEFS, and Sticks Stones Broken Bones

Riding high on a wave of sell-out shows in London and Edinburgh, the world's first all-male burlesque troop, BRIEFS (pictured) is taking over Udderbelly this weekend. Avant-garde is the order of the day, so expect jaw-dropping aerial acrobatics, extravagant boylesque performances, and a fair bit of nudity (you've been warned!) The Close Up acrobats are also taking to the stage, performing unbelievable feats of balance and strength, accompanied by powerful music and interactive videos. Perhaps puppet are more up your street? Join Bunk Puppets as they bring household junk to life in their hilarious shadow puppet show, Sticks Stones Broken Bones, and entertain the whole family with their wacky, wordless show. AIA The Great European Carnival Presents Phantastique Friday and The Back To It's Roots Festival

The Brothers Phantastique return to the AIA Carnival this weekend with plenty of tricks up their sleeves to entertain kids and parents alike. Meanwhile, music lovers might want to head to the main stage, as The Underground HK presents The Back To It's Roots Festival in celebration of its 12th birthday. Catch familiar faces, such as KOLOR, Senseless, and Jing Won, as well as exciting new names at the two-day musical extravaganza. With performances ranging from folk to pop, indie to rock, the festival is sure to keep all ears entertained. "Appreciate Hong Kong" Outdoor Music Performances

Treat your eyes and ears to an outdoor performance by the talented Asian Young Musician's Connection, at one of Hong Kong's most historic landmarks in Shek Kip Mei. The event runs as part of the "Appreciate Hong Kong" campaign, which is launching outdoor music performances at four historic buildings from January to April.
