The Nutcracker

Stanley Plaza Christmas Seaside Market

market Experience a magical winter wonderland by the sea as Stanley Plaza transforms itself into a German Christmas market. With more than 80 food and gift stalls, free mulled wine for shoppers, and an appearance from Santa himself, this is a perfect fun-filled event for the whole family. Stock up on gooey cheeses, delicious burgers, and sizzling sausages made from the finest meats, pick some handmade trinkets for your Christmas tree, or snag some gorgeous wooden toys to fill the stockings for the little ones. Kids can take photos with Santa, or the whole clan can huddle together for a family shot with this stylish Christmas market in the background.

 The AIA Great European Carnival

The AIA Great European Carnival returns to the Central Harbourfront this weekend to bring you heart-pounding rides, carnival skill games, an outdoor ice rink, a European food court, and non-stop entertainment on the main stage. Said to be "bigger, better, and with more attractions" than last year, the carnival is expected to attract over a million guests throughout Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, and Chinese New Year. The popular photo boards of this year will be 3D scaled replicas of iconic landmarks from across Europe, so you can journey around the globe and get that perfect snapshot. 'Chocotejas' Peruvian Chocolate Workshop

El Mercado is inviting you to get your hands dirty (in the best possible way) and make your own delicious Peruvian style chocolates for your loved ones this Christmas. Learn about Peruvian 'Chocotejas' from Peruavian chef Emmanuel before putting your chocolate making skills to the test using designs and fillings of your choice. The workshop is suitable for all ages, but spaces are limited, so be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
