The Day After Tomorrow – Hong Kong Edition!

By Localiiz 31 March 2014
March 31st 2014 Anyone else as riveted as we were with the absolutely crazy weather this weekend? From torrential downpours, to hailstones as large as golf balls, the flooding of Festival Walk, streets and the MTR, the Sevens weekend ended in truly dramatic style. In addition, more than 8,000 lightning strikes were recorded by The Hong Kong Observatory last night, and pictures and videos are still flooding in (pun intended) to Localiiz. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnbtG9OhPxs   You could say that Mother Nature is well and truly throwing her weight around, so to pay homage to her epic efforts, we bring you a Video of the Week that compiles all the best footage of last night’s (March 30th) havoc. Props to Ka Ki Wong who put this together with a suitably theatrical soundtrack.

Stay safe Hong Kong!
