By Localiiz 29 September 2014
October 1st 2014 We bid farewell to September and we’re finally in the clear for some true fall fun. October holds the promise of the perfect Hong Kong weather, less humid days, more BBQ’s, Halloween treats, and enough activities to fill your calendar. To help you find out what's in store this month, we’ve summed up the best events going on around the city for you to enjoy!

Kiddie Fun

Now that the kids are settled back in their school routine, it’s time to add a kick to their after school activities. Here's how you can keep them away from Facebook and TV, while building skills they can use in their future! For the artsy teens in your life, head over to Hong Kong Art Tutoring and sign up for their newest five-week Life Drawing Course, starting October 4th. Perfect for those teens working on their Art Coursework, this class will help them perfect those fanciful techniques they’ll need to get an A. Enroll now for HK$2,500! Does your little one have an eye for filmmaking? Sign them up for the Junior Snappers October Workshop! Held for two days on October 11th and 12th for HK$1,380, your little film buff will learn everything they need to know about directing, camerawork, and more. Simply register and you’re set to roll! Work on molding your child’s little mind into a fast thinking machine with the help of PowerBrain RX's brain training exercises. This October they’re opening their third branch in Fo Tan, New Territories. Help them celebrate their success with their offer of free trials, assessments, and 20% off all month long! Got a future Federer in your midst? Help them perfect their tennis swing and sign them up for Peak Performance Tennis Academy’s Mid Term School Break Tennis Camp from October 20th to 24th. They’ll make the most of their school break with days of tennis fun! If you can’t stop your kiddie from dancing all around the house, get their jittery dancer feet signed up for classes with Southern School of Dance. The school is launching two new classes this week at Shaw House: Beginner’s Modern and Beginner's Tap Dancing! Visit their website for a full schedule and price guide. Is your special little one celebrating a birthday this month? Look no further than Rumple and Friends for the best party entertainment they could hope for.
