November 14th 2013
Forget Mickey Mouse and roller coasters, and revisit the good ol’ days when keeping the kids entertained was an altogether simpler affair. Scoff some cotton candy, jump around in sacks and balance eggs on spoons. Good wholesome family fun will be the order of the day at the first ever
Stanley Family Carnival on November 17th.

Get the gang outside in this beautiful autumn weather and enter into the carnival spirit with a day that’s sure is sure to bring an air of infinite laughter. The Stanley Family Carnival will serve up endless entertainment, including a marching band, clowns, magicians and acrobats. There will even be a live animal encounter with everything from fluffy friends to creepy crawlies looking for a cuddle.
All attending children will receive an activity passport in which to collect stamps and win fun prizes, while adults can kick back at the BBQ, baked goods and beer stands and browse the stalls for Christmas goodies. And be sure to keep smiling, as all the fun of the fair will be captured by
Image Box Photography.
The event is being organised by the
Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF), a non-profit grassroots organisation striving to support and protect underprivileged children in Hong Kong. And the carnival will take place at the
Hong Kong Sea School, a maritime boarding school helping boys with academic and family problems reach their potential. Proceeds from the carnival will go towards these two great causes, making family time all the more worthwhile.
