Street Artist Victoriano Hides Art Around Hong Kong

By Sophie Pettit 11 November 2015
You may know Victoriano for his striking graffiti throughout the streets of Hong Kong, but now the notorious street artist is making another mark on the city. This time round, he will be hiding eight original artworks around Hong Kong Island for art lovers to find ahead of his debut solo exhibition Cash & Carrier at California Tower. Valued at $15,000 each, the artworks are graffiti laden shopping bags, or ‘carriers', similar to those exhibited at ‘Cash & Carrier’, and one will be hidden each day from November 13 to 19. One of the carriers will hold a ‘golden ticket’ for the show's VIP opening night on November 20 where the winner can meet Victoriano himself. Keep your eyes peeled on Victoriano’s Instagram account #CatchtheCarrier for clues to the locations. Let the art hunt begin! When: November 21 (11 - 8pm) and November 22 (11 - 6pm) Where: California Tower, 22/F, 30 - 32 D'Aguilar St., Central Click here for more information and check out Victoriano's Hong Kong street art below.
