PHOTOS: Remembering Tiananmen

A galaxy of candles lit up Victoria Park last night as a reported 135,000 people gathered together for the June 4 vigil to commemorate the 26th anniversary of China's Tiananmen Square crackdown in central Beijing in 1989. Mourners remembered victims of the incident, in which hundreds of student-led protesters were brutally killed after weeks of peacefully protesting for democratic reforms, filling social media with touching photos of the milestone event.
