Read It and Weep at the HK Literary Festival 2013

By Stasia Fong 31 October 2013
Calling all writers and bookworms. It’s that time of year again; the Hong Kong International Literary Festival is here! From November 1st to the 10th, discover the inspiration between the lines of some of the world's best books at events featuring famous international authors, including Graeme Simsion, Jung Chang, Thomas Enger and many more. Attend discussions, literary lunches and dinners, workshops, lectures, debates, book signings and readings and enrich your mind with words and wisdom. As Shakespeare so eloquently wrote in his play Coriolanus, "What is a city, but the people; true the people are the city." We at Localiiz believe that the people of Hong Kong are main reason for our city's vibrancy. The Hong Kong Literary Festival provides us Hong Kongers with a place to unite over our love for the literary arts. Feast your minds and meet some of Hong Kong's most interesting and creative people at this wonderful event! Keep an eye out for the opening and closing parties (On November 1st and the 10th respectively). Students get a 50% discount on tickets, so be sure to flash your student ID when purchasing your tickets. You must buy tickets for each separate event. Purchase your tickets here. Featured Writers
