If you go down to Sham Shui Po today, there's a good chance you may be caught on camera by SCAD photography student Hannah Jo. There's also a good chance you won't even know you were photographed.
The talented snapper loves nothing more than to catch people unaware in moments that reflect real life in Hong Kong. Cheekily titled
Sneak Peek, her album features shots taken through gaps to reveal characters or hints of them.
"Since I moved to Hong Kong, Sham Shui Po has been my daily-go place," Jo tells Localiiz. "It has huge street markets, which allows me to observe various life styles on the street. My photos are genuine. They capture the moments that many people are not aware of. By capturing ordinary but true moment of people’s lives, I want people to see how our lives are full of moments and encourage them to be more aware of what is going on around them."
Are those your feet?
