The Mirror – by Théatre des Asphodeles

  The Mirror sees Theatre des Asphodeles demonstrate their iconic style of combining Commedia dell’Arte and Chinese opera, but this time upping the ante by adding French Slam, Shaanxi chants and video into the mix. Set in France in 1638, the show tells the story of a meeting between a young French countess and a Chinese princess that strengthens the ties between their two countries.
