Christmas is coming, and what could be better than giving the gift of music? Legendary flautist Sir James Galway, otherwise known as "the man with the golden flute", is returning to Hong Kong to perform with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong on January 31 2016.
Hailing from Belfast, Galway has charmed audiences the world over, including Queen Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul II, and George W.Bush, with his unique sound and superb musicianship, selling more than 30 million albums ranging from the great classics to the soundtrack of Lord of the Rings (Return of the King).
The world-famous musician is now set to dazzle the crowd at the Hong Kong City Hall with an all-Bach programme which he will perform alongside his wife flautist Lady Jeanne Galway, violinist Amelia Chan, and Shane Levesque on harpsichord.

About City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong
Founded in 1999 by Principal Oboist and Artistic Director Leanne Nicholls, the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) has developed into one of Asia’s major chamber orchestras and one of Hong Kong’s most dynamic arts entities. Members are professional musicians who specialise in a wide range of chamber orchestral styles from Baroque to Jazz.
