If you’ve neglected yourself a little while running after the kids or working like a trooper all summer, get away from it all and enjoy a detox with a difference - which just happens to be in the paradise destination of Phuket. Join
Yoga For Life on their five-day
Passionate, Indulgent Yogi Retreat between September 19th and 23rd and see yourself rejuvenate with a packed pampering programme that includes chocolate spas, Thai cooking classes, painting, meditation and, of course, yoga.

The Setting
Nestled within a secluded rubber plantation,
The Pavillions in Phuket, Thailand, are renowned for their romantic atmosphere. All the luxurious villas come complete with their own courtyards, infinity pools, spas and steam rooms, making this an ideal retreat for couples needing a double detox. However, Yoga For Life founder Mindy says she’s expecting singles and friends too.
“This isn't just a retreat for couples. It's also perfect for those wanting to indulge in a bit of self- nurturing while hanging out with a friend,” said Mindy. “There’s a bit of something in the area for everyone, with white water rafting, cliff jumping and obstacle courses for active types, alongside spa treatments and artistic activities for those looking for something a bit more chilled.”
The Programme
While you’re welcome to simply switch off, sip some cocktails and laze by the pool the entire time, Yoga for Life have plenty planned for those actively seeking a detox. Every morning will start with an invigorating Yang Yoga session and end with a Yin Yoga wind down, while the time in between will be filled with something different each day.
Guests can tantalise their taste buds with Thai cooking lessons, including a guided trip to the local wet market to learn about Thai ingredients; indulge in a delicious two-hour chocolate spa, including a body wrap, facial and massage; and unleash their inner Picasso with an oil on canvas guided meditation and art session. All this comes included in the price, but additional
spa treatments are also available for those who just can’t resist the temptation of Thai massage.
The Food
Although this is a detox retreat, you’ll by no means be stuck on a diet of salad and soup during your stay. In fact, The Pavillions boast no less than four sensational
dining options, serving up fresh, seasonal and organic goodies any time of the day or night. There’s also a huge daily breakfast buffet and afternoon tea included in the price, so you’ll be in no danger of wasting away completely!
