If you couldn’t get enough music at last year’s Cotai Jazz & Blues Festival, then you’re in luck; it’s back and bigger than ever. After two successful years, the festival is returning to
The Venetian Macao from October 9th-12th, so mark your calendars.

This year’s show has added a fourth day of entertainment, a second stage (floating in the lagoon), an added area to relax, and expanded seating. Celebrating in true Mardi Gras style, there will be street performers and plenty of beads. Families can also enjoy the large kids’ area while couples looking to get a little private time can enjoy gondola rides.
For many concertgoers the height of the festival is the
music competition, featuring contestants playing for a top prize of HK$250,000. Second place musicians will have HK$150,000 to comfort them while third place finishers will have to make due with HK$100,000. Bleu Rascals, last year’s winning band, returned to The Venetian Macao in May, adding all-important exposure to the prize money.
The Localiiz team is eager to see this year’s talent and wish them all luck. No matter what, you can be guaranteed that even the winners will be singing the blues.
