Forget the Rules of Fight Club: Help Charities from the Ringside

July 28th 2014 Here’s a Fight Club that everybody’s talking about! Throw on your tux or your gown, liber up and get ready for a rumble unlike any other, as the world of suits, spreadsheets and shiny shoes gets a dusting up at Ringside on August 9th. Termed ‘White Collar Boxing’, the fundraising phenomenon will see the men and women of Hong Kong’s cushdy corporate jobs literally fight for good. Two teams, featuring a line up of Hong Kong heavyweight suits, including BSpoke’s very own Ed Rolston, will be pitted against each other in five fights at The American Club. Guests can sit back and relax, or get close enough to the action to be splashed with sweat, with tickets available for everything from swanky VIP tables to rowdy ringside standing. Other than the scuffles, a silent auction will be held amid the free-flow cocktails and canapés, and an after party will be keep up the good fight at Localiiz’s favourite club Boujis. The proceeds of Ringside will go to not one, but TWO, great charities - The Green Warrior Permaculture Project, and Operation Smile. The Green Warrior Permaculture Project is working to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, while Operation Smile funds surgery for children with cleft lips in impoverished regions in the world.
