Forget First World Problems - Take a Look at Hong Kong's Illegal Microapartments

By Localiiz 9 May 2014
May 9th 2014 Our densely populated city is well known for its ridiculously high rents and its ridiculously tiny homes, but do you know how tiny they actually get? Throw all your first world problems out the window and stop complaining about your lack of closet space!
To draw attention to the issue, the Society for Community Organization (SoCO) has commissioned a collection of photographs highlighting life in Hong Kong's micro-apartments. Coined the Photo Exhibition on Grassroot Housing in Hong Kong 2014, the series 'Trapped' by Benny Lam will be on display from May 16th to July 13th in Sham Shui Po (1st Floor, 269 Yu Chau Street).

Still complaining about the size of your home? Click through to view some of the photographs from the series, and you likely won't anymore!
