FREE EVENT: "Entropy" Art Exhibition by Nick Walker, September 17 - October 24

By Localiiz 29 September 2015
Explore the historical and gritty side of our city through the eyes of renowned British street artist Nick Walker. Hailing from Bristol, the artist (once the mentor to the notorious Banksy) is recognised as one of the greatest contributors to street art and has pioneered the scene since its early conception back in the 80s. The show explores Walker's changing style, from vandalist stencil techniques to a more experimental, abstract style that allows for a more organic process to unfold which reflects the chaotic nature of change. Showcasing urban scenes from the streets of Hong Kong and busy futuristic market images reminiscent of Ridley Scott’s 1982 blockbuster Blade Runner, the show features pieces created exclusively for the city, in honour of its urban aesthetic. Well aren't we lucky? When: September 17 - October 24, (Tuesday to Saturday 1pm - 7pm) Where: Above Second, 9 First Street, Sai Ying Pun How much: Free Click here for more information.
