Cloudy With A Chance Of...Illustrations?

By Localiiz 22 April 2014
April 22nd 2014 Ever laid out watching the sky, trying to spot shapes in the clouds? Well French artist Thomas Lamadieu has taken the idea of one step further with his SkyArt series. Adding adorable and imaginative doodles into the clear skies of aerial photographs, Lamadieu turns open and otherwise ignored space into works of art, reminding us that it's about time we look up every one in a while! "My artistic aim is to show a different perception of urban architecture and the everyday environment around us, what we can construct with a boundless imagination", Lamadieu explains on his website. Lucky for us Hong Kongers, Lamadieu's work is coming to our city as part of the upcoming Le French May festival (see details below). To give you a sneak peek, here are a few of our favourite from the series. All At Sea

What: SkyArt by Thomas Lamadieu When: May 2nd 2014 - May 31st 2014 Where: Open Piazza, G/F, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East Price: FREE
