Tiny tots as young at 14 months old are welcomed through the studio doors to reap the benefits of movement and dance in the Ballet with Mommy summer camp. For slightly older dancers, weekly classes or week-long camps are available, with a variety of charming themes. For teenagers who are serious about gaining strength and getting in shape, Primal Strength has just the ticket. Their summer programme is a great way to introduce youngsters to various strength training methods, in a spacious studio jam-packed with high-quality equipment. Over the course of either two or four weeks, teens aged 15 to 20 will attend four morning weight sessions per week, with each class strengthening their core and improving their sporting capabilities. There are also adult summer camps, should the rest of the family want to join in the action. If you're on the hunt for an action-packed summer, then look no further than Chito Ryo Karatedo. School’s out and surf's up! What could be cooler than hitting the waves on beautiful Pui O Beach in Lantau? The adventurous team at Treasure Island Surf Camp is inviting the next generation of Hong Kong wave riders to join them for a week of water-based action, as they learn how to surf like a pro and be safe in the ocean. Surfers aged between 5 and 15 years can join one of three camps, which run daily and cater for all levels and interests. Ahoy m'hearties! Bid farewell to the skyscrapers and set sail this summer with the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC). Junior sailors, aged 6 to 10, will learn the ropes of wind control over the course of five days, with the potential to progress through all five stages of the optimist dinghies stage in one summer. Kids aged 11 to 18 can progress to the slightly larger pico dinghy boat, while experienced sailors take to the high seas in a separate schedule of classes.
