August 28th 2014 We know, the kids are whining about the start of the new school year and you’re struggling to explain how the lessons learned now will lead to success down the road. Promises of ice cream and an hour of TV after dinner, just leave the little tots sugared up before bedtime and haven’t help to give them a leg up on the neighbour’s kid (it’s ok, you can admit it here). So we’ve got some fun activities that will entertain your future star while keeping their brain sharp. Help build your child’s mind for the future using LEGO bricks at Bricks 4 Kidz. This month, they’re offering a free trial hour lesson on September 6th at 10:00am, 11:30am, 2:00pm, and 3:30pm. So get a taste of how your child can learn, build, and play! Space is limited. Send them off to clown around under the supervision of none other than Rumple and Friends at Rumple’s Silly Circus School! Starting on September 23rd, the 12-week after-school programme will teach your tot everything they need to know about being a circus clown. Held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the HK Arts Centre, the programme costs HK$3000 and will include all materials! Sound perfect? Click here to book a spot now! If your little one is more of an athlete, they’ll be happy to know that Hong Kong Scottish is hosting a better late than never Summer Camp in Discovery Bay on September 9th. If you enrol them for a full term, you’ll get a lesson free! Visit their Localiiz page to find the programme that is best for your child. Is your teen getting ready to work on their coursework for their upcoming IB or A-Level exams? Head on over to Hong Kong Art Tutoring for their new five-week Life Drawing Course, beginning on September 4th. For HK$2500, you’ll get all materials needed as well.
