Chinese New Year is almost upon us and soon Hong Kong will be swimming in red envelopes (or "lai see" in Cantonese) which are packed with money and exchanged between family and friends as a token of good luck. But if you're not so accustomed with the local traditions during this prosperous time of year, and unsure about the rules surrounding who gives what, then fear not, because this handy chart from Hong Kong-based lifestyle site Molala, will help set the record straight.
