It's time to dust the cobwebs off your witches hat, dig out the flashing red devil horns, and get freaky, because our favourite creepy festival is almost upon us. 1. Complete Deelite Workshops

This series of Halloween themed baking workshops will teach you how to whip up delicious goodies during the spookiest holiday of the year. Take your pick of Halloween Cookies, Kawaii Halloween Cupcakes, and a Kawaii-3D Pumpkin Treats Cake. 2. Dog-Friendly Fun

Local animal charity Kirsten’s Zoo is inviting both two-legged and four-legged walkers to get dressed up and join the charity Howl-O-Ween Waggy Walk. Choose the 4km or 8km trail, and pile into BBQ, drinks, and goodie bag fun at the finish line. Then it's over to Stanley Plaza for an afternoon of photo booths, doggy workshops, and trick-or-treating at LAP's Monster Madness Halloween Party. Plus, there will be a fancy dress contest for pooches with an affinity for Halloween costumes.

Halloween Trampolining Bounce Inc Spooky Super Session

3. Bounce Spooky Super Session

Jump out of your skin at the three-hour Bounce Spooky Super Session. Let loose on over 100 interconnected trampolines along with ghosts, zombies, and other scary characters - and even challenge them to a dodgeball competition. Dressed up jumpers will receive free candy, and Instagrammers who tag their best shots with #bounceinhkhalloween could be in with a chance of winning free passes.  4. Children's Bookfest

Don't worry, there won't be any ghost stories at the Children's Bookfest - only light-hearted Halloween entertainment is the order of the day. There are tonnes of activities to get stuck into, including glow-in-the-dark hair tattoos, parades, bingo, a treasure hunt, and scary cookie decoration workshops. Beetlejuice

5. Open Air Cinema Showings

The bizarre tale of Beetlejuice is the movie of choice at The Hive Sai Kung this Halloween. Plus, there is a special trick or treat route around Sai Kung organised for little ones before the showing. Don't worry if you can't make the showing, as Hush Up and Pink Season are teaming up to bring the 70s cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show Show, to The Butchers Club on November 3. Dig out your fishnets, perfect your Time Warp, and keep the Halloween celebrations going. 6.  Halloween Boat Party

Set sail on the spookiest boat party of the year with Voyage Yachting. Expect gory snacks including some very realistic looking severed finger biscuits, wacky fancy dress outfits, and plenty of fun and games out on the water. 7. Creepy Cocktails

Raise a toast to ghouls and ghosts with a blood-red Arabian Nights cocktail with a Tabasco kick, served in a smoking lamp at The Optimist. Then it's onto The Woods to huddle round the interactive Pumpkin Patch centrepiece with your friends and slurp away on your custom-made Pumpkin Cauldron. Complete with seasonal garnishes, this DIY punch bowl requires a reservation and a minimum of five witches (we mean people). 8. Halloween Styloween

Classic fairy tale characters with a haunting twist are the stars of this year's Halloween Styloween series of events at Fashion Walk. Get stuck into a selection of workshops including the Fairest of Them All skincare workshop at Kiels, and the Design Your Work Trick or Treat Bag at Logon. Then, come October 28, it's time to wander the area and explore the music, drinks, games, and activities on offer. 9. The Secret Theatre Project

After taking London and New York by storm, the immersive experience that is The Secret Theatre Project is returning to Hong Kong for a two-month stint of unique theatre shows. Last time, the SE7EN Deadly Sins were brought to life in a haunted house on Lamma island, so who knows what cheeky tricks the team have got up their sleeves this time? 10. Going Out
