Get ready for an action-packed Sunday as the Hong Kong E-Prix returns to Central Harbourfront with an all-immersive electric car street racing experience this March 10.
Entering the fifth leg of this season’s ABB FIA Formula E Championship, the 2019 Hong Kong E-Prix will see 22 drivers from 11 teams race around a 1.85km race circuit along the city’s iconic Harbourfront, with famous landmarks such as IFC, the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, and City Hall providing a breathtaking backdrop.
There are two grandstands available for race fans to get in on the action. The Observation Wheel grandstand will give spectators a view of one of the circuit’s most thrilling hairpin turns, while the Tamar Park grandstand (located next to the Allianz E-Village) will offer views of the start/finish line and “back straight”, where drivers will be looking for opportunities to overtake their competition. Tickets for both grandstands are priced at $2,880.
Don’t worry if watching cars driving in circles isn’t your thing, because there’s still plenty to do at the Allianz E-Village. For just $50, ticket holders will be able to enjoy live music performances and entertainment, munch down on delicious nibbles, and even get the chance to meet world-famous Formula E drivers in person. Meanwhile, little ones will be kept thoroughly entertained at the Kids’ Zone. And don’t forget to check out Formula E World, where fans can learn more about the exciting world of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, while having tons of fun along the way!
