Keep your body fit and firm with some fun and exciting sporting activities this August. With everything from aerial hooping to adventure sailing, pole dancing and swimming to choose between, there’s simply no excuse to be a couch potato this month!

Adventure Sailing (August 4th, 10th, 18th, 25th, 31st)

If you’re looking for ways to beat the heat this August, head out on the high seas and enjoy a three-hour adventure sail every weekend from 1pm to 4pm. Climb aboard one of Hong Kong Yachting’s racing yachts for HKD$800 (drinks included) and receive a 10% discount if you book for more than four.

 


 

Little Kickers (August 5th-29th)

Get your kids shooting for glory throughout the month with holiday football sessions at the YWCA. For children under the age of five, Kinder Kicks is offering lessons in Pok Fu Lam, Happy Valley, Jordan, Sai Kung, Hang Hau and Tung Chung (among other locations). Sports Expo 2013 (August 9th, 10th and 11th)

Get in the sporting spirit with Hong Kong’s three-day Sports Expo 2013! Boasting all kinds of fancy and fascinating activities, equipment, fashion and electronics, this event is sure to spur you into action. Pimp your skateboard, ogle at extreme sports, try your hand at airsoft shooting or join a master class with NBA fitness coach Ed Downs. Serious Soccer (August 12th-16th)

For the older football fanatics, Asia Pacific Soccer Schools is teaming up with Nike Sports Camps to host intensive training from August 12th to 16th. For average to advanced players only, these serious sessions will see you playing like a pro at King’s Park in Jordan.

 


 

Casual Kickabout (Tuesdays and Fridays)
