We’re not going to lie, it’s hardly the most exciting topic in the world, but given the cramped nature of Hong Kong living, and the fact that renting or buying a bigger place to store all our stuff is rarely an option, some help from the city’s self-storage providers is always appreciated. While there’s not a whole lot to separate them in terms of services, all of these companies have been approved by the Self Storage Association Asia (yes, that’s a real thing, I didn’t make it up). So, gather up your clutter, give these guys a call, and create some much-needed space in your life.
1. The Store House
With four locations dotted throughout Hong Kong, and four sizes of unit ranging from 16 to 84 square feet, The Store House gives you plenty of options and is one of the most convenient providers out there. Best of all, with a minimum term of only one month, you’re not locked into an extensive contract, so as your needs change your storage can change with it. You can also access your unit 24 hours a day/seven days a week, and with facilities staffed by security every hour of every day, all protected by CCTV cameras and an access card system, your precious belongings are always safe but never out of reach.

They also have a van service that’s cheaper than most out there, and you can have them pick up and drop off your things at your storage unit, using their packing service if you wish! You literally don’t have to do a thing if you don’t want to. Storage made easy.

Friendly, helpful staff ready to serve you, climate-controlled storage facilities, hi-tech access cards, and CCTV monitoring for peace of mind – with an emphasis on their special design lock, 24 hours a day/seven days a week uninterrupted access to self storage units, and free door-to-door pick-up and delivery of Cube Mini storage crates.
