Hurray! The sweetest festival of the year is almost upon us, and we’re all ready to get loaded up on sugar as we spring into action with these egg-citing events around the city. From a boozy Easter party at Happy Wednesday, to an adventurous Easter egg hunt for little scavengers around Discovery Bay, there’s plenty to keep everyone hopping with excitement this Easter in Hong Kong.


Disneyland Springtime Egg-stravanganza

It’s Springtime, which means Mickey and his friends are ready to get the party going in full bloom at Disneyland! Stroll down Main Street and discover a world of delicious spring-themed snacks and goodies for you to enjoy, and while you’re busy nibbling away, don’t forget to catch the parade where all your favourite Disney friends will come to say hello. Of course, this Springtime Carnival wouldn’t be the same without the Disney Character Egg Hunt. There will be over 100 Disney eggs scattered all around the theme park and its three hotels, so be sure to grab yourself an Egg-stravaganza Guide Map to help you hunt them all down!

Happy Wednesday Easter Party

Happy Valley Racecourse is getting a grand Easter makeover, bringing you all things sweet and tasty this Wednesday March 28. With live music from Hong Kong’s favourite Latino band, Carnivale, a free pair of bunny ears and delicious Godiva chocolates up for grabs with every pint of beer purchased, and a chance to win two round-trip tickets to Tokyo in the best photo contest, you’d be hopping mad to miss it!

 Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt

Nothing beats a good old Easter egg hunt — especially one on the beach! Head on over to Discovery Bay this Easter weekend and let your little ones run wild on Tai Pak Beach as they try to hunt down the Golden Egg Grand Prize (a hamper of Kinder Joy products, toys, and hotel dining vouchers worth over $2,000), along with a load of other amazing prizes. Remember, there are no walk-in passes available on site, so make sure you register online first for an Egg Hunt Pass and get ready to dig away!

Egg-cellent Break at The Pulse

Take a sweet break with your four-legged friend at The Pulse, and enjoy a spot of doggie yoga this Easter. Collaborating with Lifelong Animal Protection Charity (LAP), The Pulse will be bringing you and your furry little companions a bundle of fun with a wide range of activities including Doggie Yoga and a Doggie Egg Hunt between April 1 and 2. For us humans, there will also be plenty of entertainment to enjoy, from an exciting Easter Egg Hunt to hilarious clown performances, so get yourself down there this Easter weekend.

A Cracking Great Easter at FRITES

Hop your way over to FRITES this Easter and celebrate the chocolaty holiday with the whole family. Wham Music Live x Easter Bazaar at Whampoa

Whether you’re looking to go on a shopping spree, tap your feet along to street busking music, or enjoy an amazing live graffiti performance, you will be sure to find it all at Whampoa this Easter. The famous London busker Stephen Ridley, along with other popular local buskers, will be making an appearance to generate a new creative spark from now until April 8, while our favourite British street artist Szabotage, will be performing live to create a grand graffiti masterpiece at the venue on March 25. If that’s not enough, check out the Easter European Art & Craft Bazaar where there will be a wide range of European-style handmade goods, accessories, arts, and delicious nibbles for you to take home.

Tom Rhodes at Takeout Comedy

Need a cracking good laugh this Easter? Returning to Hong Kong once again, Tom Rhodes will be taking his hilarious stand-up comedy to the stage with TakeOut Comedy from April 12 to 14. Having been in the business for over 30 years, Rhodes has starred in everything from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, to having his own one-hour special on Netflix, so you know you’re in for a top night of belly-aching laughs.
