The sweetest festival of the year is almost upon us, and we’re all geared up to get high on sugar and lap up the city’s many fun festivities. From an adventurous Easter egg hunt for little scavengers around Discovery Bay, to having fun with Rumple the Clown and his friends, there’s plenty to keep everyone hopping with excitement in Hong Kong.

Disneyland Carnival of Stars

It’s Springtime, which means Mickey and his friends are ready to get the party going in full bloom at Disneyland. Stroll down Main Street and discover a world of delicious spring-themed snacks and goodies to enjoy, and while you’re busy nibbling away, don’t forget to catch the parade where all your favourite Disney friends will come to say hello. Of course, this Springtime Carnival wouldn’t be the same without the Disney Character Egg Hunt, where over 100 Disney eggs will be scattered around the theme park and hotels for you to find. Head over to Discovery Bay this Easter weekend and let your little ones run wild on Tai Pak Beach as they try to hunt down different coloured Grand Eggs that come with a bundle of amazing prizes for you and the whole family to take home. Hop on over to FRITES this Easter and celebrate the chocolaty holiday with the whole family. Rumple & Friends Easter Camp

Join Rumple and Friends for some Easter fun. During the week, students will create Easter themed arts and crafts, learn fun songs and dances, and get up to all sorts with puppetry, magic, and even circus acts. And as a treat for parents, a special play will be performed on the final day of the camp to show them just how much fun their kids have had. So if you’re looking for something unique to keep your little ones inspired this Easter, be sure to sign them up.

Easter Sunday Mass and Services

Celebrate the true meaning of Easter at one of the city’s traditional services held over the weekend. Beneath the chocolate-crazed hysteria, this religious holiday is a joyful time which explores the miracle of life and rebirth as Spring blossoms. St. John’s Cathedral will be filled with the sounds of Easter evensongs, while Saint Andrew’s Church will be holding two traditional services in English and Putonghua on Good Friday (April 19) and Easter Sunday (April 21).
