Ed Sheeran and John Mayer Announce Hong Kong Gigs this April

April is set to be a rocking month in Hong Kong with chart-topping singer-songwriters Ed Sheehan and John Mayer announcing gigs in the city just weeks apart.

Making up for the fact that he bailed on us back in 2017, after falling off his bike and breaking his right arm, Sheeran will be picking up his guitar and taking to the stage at the Fantasy Road Outdoor Venue at Hong Kong Disneyland (yep, you read that right) on April 17 and 18. Concert goers will finally get the chance to sing along to old favourites like Galway Girl, Thinking Out Loud, and The Shape of You against the magical backdrop of the popular theme park. Way better than AsiaWorld-Expo, right?

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, January 17 at 10am, although no details of the ticketing website have been announced yet, so keep your eyes peeled on Sheeran’s official website.

Before the red-headed star hits the stage, however, seven-time Grammy Award-winner John Mayer will be bringing his 2019 World Tour to Hong Kong on Monday, April 8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer is known for numerous hits such as Gravity, Love on the WeekendYour Body Is a Wonderland, and the 2018 release New Light. Fans will get the chance to spend “An Evening with John Mayer” at his debut show (of that exact name) in Hong Kong, where he will perform songs spanning his entire recording career.

Tickets range from $698 to $1,198 and will be available to buy on HK Ticketing on Tuesday, 22 January starting 10am.

Bring on April!
