HKA is a non-profit, through-train school offering a rigorous, student-centered education for children aged 3 to 18 years. Founded on the belief that all children bring a unique set of talents and strengths to their learning, HKA provides a highly personalised, student-centred programme that encourages every individual to fulfil their greatest potential.
As one of only eight fully-authorised three-programme International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools in Hong Kong, HKA offers the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Through an inquiry-based and conceptually-driven curriculum, students hone the competencies, knowledge and skills they need today that also prepare them for the future. They develop as global and digital citizens, learning how to use a range of technologies to build understanding and communicate thinking.
HKA offers multiple credentials to its graduates, each of which supports successful post-secondary study worldwide. All graduates earn the credit-based HKA Diploma and portfolio-based Global Citizen Diploma certificate, and over 90% pursue the full IB Diploma or IB courses. HKA students consistently outperform the IB Diploma world pass rates and enter competitive universities and colleges around the globe.
