“Harry Potter is among the most incredible book and film franchises of all time, and the music written by John Williams is a huge part of that,” HK Phil’s Director of Artistic Planning, Raff Wilson tells us. “It communicates the magic of Hogwarts and Harry Potter with vivid charm. The orchestra has performed excerpts of the music from time to time, but this is the first time we have held a concert that is dedicated to Harry Potter, drawing music from nearly all of the films.”
