Every year in May, thousands descend on the tiny island of Cheung Chau for the annual Bun Festival. The week-long festivities include massive prosperity buns, colourful displays of papier-mâché deities, adorable children on floats, bamboo towers, and more, but the most anticipated event of them all is the grand finale – the Bun Scrambling Competition, where participants climb giant bun-covered bamboo towers and try to grab as many buns as they can.

If you’re confident in your climbing skills, over 18, aren’t afraid of heights, and most importantly, you’re able to grab an abundance of buns, you may just become one of the competition’s 12 finalists. Applications are accepted starting from today until March 20, so don’t miss your chance!
