The Localiiz team bounce over to Ryze Ultimate Trampoline Park to discover all it has to offer energetic Hong Kongers while catching two of its biggest young fans in action.
There’s no denying that Ryze Ultimate Trampoline Park was the first to bring the infinite bouncing craze to Hong Kong. Spanning 7,000 square feet with over 40 trampolines, this indoor trampoline park has two attractions – the Ninja Course and Super Trampoline, a tight-rope section, and two massive foam pits for you to practice your double and triple back-flips in. There’s so much to do here that you might just find yourself completely wiped out before your session even ends!
Since it opened its doors in 2014, Ryze has built a growing community of frequent flyers in Hong Kong. Ranging from as young as 3 years old to teens and even adults, the park has become popular for the many activities everyone can enjoy, especially in a city like Hong Kong which lacks the space needed for energetic youngsters.
Curious to know what a day at Ryze is like, the Localiiz team bounced over to the park to catch Rori and Tifenn in action, two of the many frequent flyers at Ryze who have been loyal and regular customers since it opened.
Check out some of the cool stunts Rori showed us below.
Tifenn is one of Ryze’s patron customers too. He started visiting the park a few days into its opening. With some parkour and capoeira background, Tifenn is a natural at trampoline jumping. You’ll often see him at Ryze four to five times a week and he often teaches the younger kids how to navigate around the area as well as how to master a trick or two!
Check out his video below.
We also got to talk to Ryze’s General Manager, James Julian, and discovered that the whole concept behind the indoor park is to provide a safe environment to try extreme things. “We think of ourselves as purveyors of awesomeness and we try to be extreme within the limits of safety,” says Julian.
Open to people of all ages, Ryze has something for everyone – just be mindful of your younger children around over-excited teens doing back flips in every direction. The facility is minded by a great team of skilled young staff who are always on hand to assist anyone in need of some help, or to provide some tips on how to get the most out of their bouncing experience.
The park can get quite full, especially on weekends, so call ahead or visit their website ahead of time to ensure a spot!
