Originally from Sydney, Australia, a professional Drummer, Producer & DJ, Ed Rollo has always had a keen ear for music composition and performance. Having studied advanced Music Production from registered trainers in Sydney as well as mentoring from Ableton Certified Trainer, Simon Stokes (Soma Records) in the UK, Ed is looking forward to his upcoming debut release on Cutting Records (NY) later this year. Ed tries to understand what’s really going on behind any piece of music, connecting the dots between a producer / musician and the audience as a whole. Now based in Hong Kong, his focus is on performing more in the region, sharing his knowledge and launching his first EP.
Raised in Sydney, Australia, Mike has nearly a decade of experience as a DJ and over 3 years experience as an instructor. Founding and managing a number of club nights in Sydney over the years including the highly successful ‘Sunday Sets‘ which ran continuously for 2 years & included a 2 month long commercially sponsored DJ competition in Sydney’s iconic Oxford St. Mike’s passion for teaching and his experience as a professional DJ & event manager gives him the unique ability to break down the complexities of a performance and the structure of a production into a framework in which any student is capable of learning. Now based in Hong Kong, he aspires to continue his passion for providing a platform which students can learn to explore their own musical creativity.
Hong Kong born, Vancouver raised and widely traveled – Soulfunkee has played at clubs in London, Canada, & USA. With nearly 5 years experience under her belt, her goal is to change the perception that only male DJs know how to rock a party from the decks and prove that Hong Kong’s club scene is ready for more than top 40 mainstream repetition. Soulfunkee brings an interesting blend of accredited professional experience in Sound Design, a deep knowledge of modern music genres and wealth of hands on digital DJ technical experience. Now finaly based in Hong Kong she is ready to make her mark on the scene.
Celebrity Pool Boy
Celebrity Pool Boy started DJing in Montreal, Canada at the young age of 15. After amassing a sizable vinyl collectoin and still in high school, he managed to spin at some of Montreal's most popular venues and club nights, most notably: Circus and Aria afterhours, Thursday Nights at Parking, and a weekly residency at Blu Room.
In 2006-2007, CPB was in Shanghai playing both the lounge scene at the Ritz Carlton and doing a guest appearance at Antidote.
In 2007, Celebrity Pool Boy came to HK and formed part of the Destroyed HK crew. Since then he has been booked to DJ at: Drop, Fly Club, Philia, Tivo, Club Cliq, Sugar, LaKage, Club Pi, Liquid Lounge, and many more.
Celebrity Pool Boy has been booked to open or play alongside international and popular HK DJs, including: Sander Van Doorn, Above & Beyond, Kyau & Albert, Jason Fung, Miko Van Chong, Re:Flex, Casey Anderson, Wendy Wenn, Ocean Lam, and many more.
